[C320-list] Sette Conversion to Bed

On my boat, I raised the table by putting a piece of 2x4 under the stands base. This makes sliding in under the table easier. With this configuration, I'm sure the table would not lower enough to use it as a bed. If this has been done to your boat, there is very easy access to the table support from the center bilge area. In my case, all I'd have to do is remove the 2x4 (not attached to anything) and set the table support back in its normal position.

Unless the table was modified in some way it should fit the space after it is in
the full down position (assuming the other cushions have been removed first) and
rest on some wood blocks on the settee. It is often difficult to get the table
all the way down without sitting on it or using quite a bit of force. When all
the way down the filler cushion should fit. The bench cushions on my boat
(cloth) do have a "bolster" at the edge but I"ve never really slept on the
starboard side.

Last spring I purchased my 320(#009) and this year I was hoping to take a group
of people sailing for a couple days. When I went to convert the table to a bed I
found that there were all kinds of issues that came up.
1. The table did not collapse all the way down to be level with the normal bench
seat
2. the table didn't fit into the space below the table
3. the pad that is added to fill in the space of the table was not thick enough
to match the cushions that were on the bench seats.
4. The bench seat cushions are shaped in a way that makes them very difficult to
sleep on.

Does anyone have any hints as to how to make this work. The Vbirth will be taken
up with a major boat project I am working on but I was hoping there was a way
that the other couple that would be sailing with us could sleep together. I
appreciate any suggestions.
