Hi Pat,

Again, thanks for the question. I'm sure it is on a lot of folks mind
besides yours. Hopefully the below information clears things up. The
Michigan committee lead by Alan Goodman, along with Ruth Robbins and John
Meyers have been hard at work trying to put together a program to give us
the biggest bang for the buck! They are continually looking at costs,
reviewing vendor proposals, etc. to get to a break even point for the
association.

Don't forget to get your online registration completed and check in the mail
postmarked by June 1st to get the discount. If anyone is uncomfortable with
online registration, please contact me at 410.474.6834 and I will be glad to
send you a paper registration form. I personally justify this as our big
annual vacation and I cannot think of anything that I'd rather be or doing!!
wellll......maybe not... there's always Tahiti. Donna and I are coming in a
couple of days early and staying a couple of days longer to explore. I was
in Door County, Wisconsin many years ago on the other side of the Lake and
have always wanted to get back as it was just beautiful and here is our
chance.

Hope to see you there,
Jerry

Hi Pat,

I will help Sean with this and will be brief as I have to go somewhere.

Our budgeting is as follows:

Friday catered dinner - $50 per person (you cannot get a nice dinner
anywhere for much less than this)
Saturday catered dinner & boat cruise - $50 per person
Bus transportation - $1,000 total. To brewery on Friday, dinner cruise
Saturday followed by the night on town. Carries you to and from hotel to
Marina.
Boat shed rental for activities, tent/table/chair rentals
Marlin spike clinic - $10 includes rigger/instructor costs plus some
spliced lines to keep.
Morning coffee and donut sessions - $10
Welcome package - $35 includes Lands End embroidered golf shirt, engraved
grog mug and other take home mementos.
Boat open house supplies - $10 cheese, crackers, beverages, wine (use your
grog mug)
Race and non-race awards and officer thank yous - $10

If anyone crunches the numbers....$150 per person is a GREAT deal and $175
after June 1st is still a GREAT deal.

Hope everyone agrees and gets there online registration completed and check
mailed by June 1st for the early bird discount.

Regards,

Jerry

Sean, since attendees are paying for breakfast, lunch, hotels and slips,
aside from a couple of dinners what is the $300 to $350 per couple charge
for?
