Ian,
I recently bought a Raymarine TicTac wireless system and am about to have it installed.  I'll try to get the installer to take a few pictures when he installs & report back.

I have  the TackTick wireless version and have been VERY pleased.  It also
fits atop the mast facing forward, but the boat yard put it up their for me
so I'm not sure how it is secured.   All I know is that it has remained
secure through numerous hurricanes without interfering with radio or
mechanical wind direction indicator.
