Jeff - I found a small raised blister with spider cracks on the port side deck in the non-skid area near the rear stanchion. There was some moisture in it, so I heated, vacuumed, heated, and vacuumed again to pull out the moisture. Then I injected epoxy to seal it down. So you may want to check for moisture before you inject any epoxy. I also found a few spots with “loose” gel coat areas on the seat backs at the front of the cockpit. Those sound more like what you are seeing.

After reading this, I checked our boat and found a silver dollar sized spot
on our deck adjacent to the starboard genoa track about even with the double
stanchion where there wasn't any resin bonding under it. It sounds like
tapping on a thin shell vs solid like everywhere else. It's a circular spot
and would break out if something hit it just right I bet. I'll drill a tiny
hole inject some thin epoxy with a needle unless someone else has a better
idea.

I've never noticed it before. I spotted it as a slight round depression by
shining a light across the surface of the non-skid at night. Showed right
up.

I'll look more carefully to see if there are any more of these anywhere.

We had a bubble in the deck nonskid gel coat in this area on the port side.
I opened it up completely and it did not penetrate the lay-up.
Cosmetic issue only.

I recently had a Marine Survey of my 2002 C320 and the following is taken
from the survey document. Has anyone else had a similar occurrence or issue
of this kind? Thanks. Dan Nichols #876 Aja.

"There was a small-delaminated area on the starboard side deck adjacent to
the aft end of the jib sheet track. There was a small delaminated area on
the starboard side deck approximately 1/3 of the of the length of the jib
sheet track from the aft end of the track. There was no cracking or elevated
moisture meter readings noted at the aft delamination. There was gelcoat
cracking adjacent to the forward delamination but no elevated moisture meter
readings. I recommend that the delaminated spots in the deck be drilled and
injected with epoxy to seal the FRP to the core. There were no elevated
moisture meter readings noted on the remainder of the deck."
