[C320-list] C320: Rudder stock head loose

Sorry to answer so late.  The packing seemed fine, however I did replace.  I
also added mylar sheet to shim the rudder stock below the cap.  I think the
groan is mostly gone.

I disassembled the gear under the cockpit inspection port  and squirted some
teflon dry lube between the head stock and bushing. This has cured the the
squeaking sound coming from the headstock when the rudder is under load.What
did WINDSWEPT find when you inspected the packing gland at the rudder
tube...had the lube dried out?
