[C320-list] Engine Seacock position.

Thanks, I was just concerned that the engine could flood with seawater if left open too long. I think while in use we'll leave it open but when we leave the boat for more than a day we'll close it off. We do keep the ignition key by the engine box in the aft cabin when the seacock is closed.

I used to close them on my Ericsson 32 but have always left them open on my 320 . But I do inspect and check bildge and oil every sat prior to sail.

I know me, if I close the intake I will forget to open it. Forgot once on my Ericsson and ran that ol' Atomic 20 minutes with no water. Damn if it didn't hurt it, damn lucky.

I never closed the seacocks in previous boats. Is there a preferred procedure on this?
