[C320-list] Center dinette table

The screws that hold the pedestal to the wood table stripped out when lowered to be used as a bed for the night.
I guess the weight of the guest off center of the base pedestal forced the failure during the night
For now I installed # 12 wood screws in place of the factory # 10's, but of course the screws are only 3/4" long, I also used "gorilla glue" brand glue on the tips of the new screws when I re-installed them.
I did not make new holes because I was afraid the table would not properly align when lowered.
Any other suggestions would be helpful !.

Lou - we're going to need more information. What part broke? The post? 
Base? Wood table ripped from mounting plate?
