[C320-list] rubber floor coating

Hi Joe,
Our galley floor was looking pretty rough this spring. I used a scotchbrite
sponge. In a small bucket, I put in ~1/2 cup of bleach ~1/4 cup of laundry
detergent and also found a brush with very short stiff bristles. It made
the floor look massively better. There is still a discoloration where the
engine box sits and where the feet of the ladder sit, but for the most part
it's more uniform and looks nice now.
In the Head, the floor here always had 2 problems on our boat. The shower
grate being stock Starboard stained and was very hard to get white. The
pattern on the floor catches dirt and hard to clean. We took the shower
grate home and sanded it with 100 then 220 grit paper to smooth it out.
It's not slippery, but the surface returned to very nice white and doesn't
collect as much dirt. It's also much easier to wipe clean. Anywhere you
have starboard that is hard to get clean, you can sand it down and put a
smooth surface on it. The floor itself I have used (the soap/bleach
solution) or Colinite 920 fiberglass cleaner and a brush with short fine
stiff bristles. That is the only way I've found to keep that floor white.
Good luck!

Subject: [C320-list] rubber floor coating
The rubber floor galley floor has gotten stained yellow spots, and I can't
remove whatever caused it,. I've tried goof off, and paint thinner but
nothing works. Is there a coating that you can apply that sticks and wears?
