[C320-list] Mast water leak.

I have a couple of other sources that put water into the bilge;
The AC unit drains into it and so does my packing gland when it needs adjustment.
My way of drying the bilge is to use a small wet/dry shop vacuum that I have modified the suction end of the hose; necking it down to a piece of small plastic pipe (actually an extra piece of my fresh water piping). This allows me to completely dry the bilge(s) in a matter of minutes.

Glad you brought up this topic. Mine does this. It drives me kinda nuts, but I
end up just sponging out the bilge.
I also have a Selden in mast furling main sail.
I am guessing that it is from water running down an electrical cable or a
messenger line that I have running into the bilge area.
I do need to investigate this further and put a drip loop in my cables (if they
don't already exist).
The drain holes at my deck are clear, so it is not that.
Also, the deck plate/mast step has a raised lip where the deck hole is to allow
the cables to run into the bilge, yet to allow rain water or deck wash water to
not enter the bilge. I have seen this deck plate/mast step and photographed it
when I unstepped our mast several years ago to ship our boat. This image may
already be posted on our C320IA site under my owner photos. I will check and
verify.
Kinda a pain in the neck when you like to keep the bilge dry and we live in the
PNW where it rains a lot.
it would be nice to resolve this leaky mast problem...
