Ahoy.....another case where bigger is better......to a point though.....chafing gear on the line on the mooring is not to be overlooked, as I assume the boat is there unattended. At a dock with someone aboard the 1/2 in. would do, but the 5/8 line feels better in my hands.......Joe....#245
