Your opinion is most likely correct. 

I purchase my 320 almost two years ago, I wondered the purpose of two large lead blocks, starboard side behind the batteries, just in front of the waste tank ---- port list!!! 

I like your opinion. I wonder if any one has had a chat with Catalina
