[C320-list] Anybody replaced their forestay? (solved)

I found a solution, proffered by someone who had had a similar problem.

Attach a vacuum cleaner to one end of the foil, using duct tape. Be sure to seal over all the joins and rivets to reduce air leakage. Then take a length of thin light line, tie a 1/2” sq. piece of soft cloth to one end and feed into opposite end of the foil.  The airflow is more than adequate to pull the bit of cloth and trailing line right through 45ft of furler foil!

The whole operation took less than ten minutes from start to finish.

Well worth noting for future reference!
