I think that holds more for power boats. I was always happy to see the power boats go when I was done with them. It was always a little more of a somber mood letting a sailboat go....darn I should have kept that Hobie!

That old saying about the two best days of boat ownership isn't true. 
I'm speaking from personal experience. After ten years, Grace was passed on
to a new owner yesterday. I want to thank you all on this list, you have
been a wonderful source of information.
