[C320-list] Replacement of Jib Halyard

My mast is installed.  My hull number is #680.  The jib halyard needs to be replaced.
The C320 book calls for 3/8 low-stretch, 115'.   
I will order a 120' length with the shakel attached.
Anything I need to be aware of???? in ordering the halyard???
Also, with the mast up, the old halyard will be removed and the new one
installed.
Any preferred way of doing this...ideas welcome.
