Here is THE definitive process for inspecting and maintaining your
steering system. Some very helpful tips can be learned from these two
videos. Note that some of the parts may look different because he is
showing different vintage pedestals, but the overall principles remain
the same. Hopefully this will help some of you who are unsure of what to
inspect / maintain. This should take a lot of the mystery out of your
steering system and hopefully more of us will do the necessary
preventive maintenance.
