Here is another option which I used on my C30. It looks great and is high
enough so it is convenient to use.

Graeme,

The main hole for a single faucet isn't normally all that standardized.
What gets standardized is the spacing between holes when you have separate
hot/cold faucets. In this case, it's just a single rather large hole so
that the threaded post, and the hot & cold tubes can all fit through it. I
just went to a home center and found one with a pullout faucet that I felt
was nicely built and would match.

Took me only about a beer to do this project, but having a "basin wrench"
would have made it a little easier to reach up behind the sink and
tighten/loosen the nut holding this in place.

Indeed I had very much hoped NOT to use a boat part! I think the Grohe units
arent intended for boats either! (even if they are priced as though they
were!)

Really my concern was that the sink unit will have been designed and
constructed fod US standardised fittings and therefiore whether the hole in
the unitb where the faucet fits is good for a unit bought in Europe or the
UK (where I am located).

I guess the safe answer is to wait until winter haul out, remove the old one
and then look for a correctly sized replacement;
