I ended taking Jeff's advice went to a forespar 906024 FORESPAR CF 253 3/4" THRU-HULL $11.22 instead of the vent that hardly let any air in the head at all! The factory vent cap really restricts the airflow. I did need to cut down the hose forespar barb a bit for clearance. Now I've got a 3/4 in thru-hull I can blow a hose through to clear! The aft cabin has no smell at all! The closet smells like cedar.

While I was at it I upgraded my head to a Raritan PH II marine size $275.00 (hodges marine) and swapped out the 1 1/2 inc. hose with TRIDENT PREMIUM WHITE RUBBER SANITATION HOSE 1 1/2" ~30 ft @ 6.62 /ft MMI marine. The total hose cost was $260. I used 3M 4200 on the inside of the thru-hull just in case. Based on my research on Peggy the Head Mistress Site Trident premium is the way to go and MMI is the lowest cost vendor for the hose. The job is a pain so put good hose in. I looked at the cost of rebuild kits for the head and found it was cheaper to just replace it with a super reliable PH II. I had an old Wilcox Cruttenden head. The bolt patterns on the WC don’t match the PH II but this is not an issue.
