[C320-list] Water leak around sliding companionway hatch

Okay, thanks. I stopped by the boat quickly and there is no tape on the
rails so it sounds like a good idea to add it anyway.

I don't think the aft end is blocked and the leak was from rain so wasn't
under pressure. The leak was at the forward end of the hatch (see photo
[1]). I wonder if there is some blockage near the forward end of the drain
channel that is causing water to get trapped and overflow. I might have to
try running a hose on it to see if I can see where the water comes from.

The tape has nothing to do with the possibility of a leak. There are drain
channels on either side of the hatch to divert water to the cockpit. The
only way that i know of for water to get in where you are indicating is for
it to be blown in, forced in under pressure as I sometimes do when washing
the deck or if the aft end is stopped-up/blocked and it overflows.
