Hank - Sorry for being late to the show. If you discover that a
replacement switch is needed, you may be able to procure it from
Catalina Direct. I'm actually really surprised that nobody else
suggested them as a supplier...

Here is a link to the section where they carry switches and breakers.
Hopefully you can match one of them up to what you have on your boat:

Good luck!

Simultaneously our refrigerator stopped cooling. Where would I find a replacement rocker switch? Would the defective rocker switch cause the refrigerator not to cool? Thank you, in advance, for all your collective infinite wisdom. repair/replacement parts. Nice guy to work with. -Jeff Hare -----Original Message----- From: C320-list [mailto:c320-list-bounces at lists.catalina320.com] On Behalf Of Hank LeSieur Sent: Monday, June 29, 2015 4:53 PM To: c320-list at lists.catalina320.com Subject: [C320-list] Rocker switch This past weekend we discovered the rocker switch on the DC panel that controls my refrigerator is stuck in the "on" position. first a disclaimer. I'm no electrical wizard. But I think you can run some simple tests with a 12 volt test light or basic volt meter. From the on side of the frozen switch to ground if it lights or 12 volts you're getting juice from the battery. From the off terminal of the switch to ground if lights the switch is passing current and is just stuck closed. If no light then the switch is bad and replace. If there is current through the switch the fridge should work unless there's is a disconnect downstream most likely at the connections at the compressor. Put the light or voltmeter from hot to ground at the compressor to verify that the unit is getting juice. If it is then there could be several reasons why the unit isn't working. There is a great article on trouble shooting the Alden barber unit on the 320 website if the unit is getting juice. If I have it all wrong somebody chime in please Jim brown Sent from my iPad On Jun 29, 2015, at 4:52 PM, Hank LeSieur <hankles at sbcglob
