[C320-list] Aft water holding tank leaks

I use the regular white stuff, but I probably have 15 wraps or more on each one. Mine doesn't leak regardless of whether I have both valves open or not.
Also, I use a rubber band wrench to tighten them.

Thanks for tip on the tip in the thicker Teflon tape Warren. I had tried the regular white without much success. I also found a thicker one by Gasoila that's green and meant for O2 tanks.

Sounds like the inspection port on the water tank needs to be sealed. I used plumbers tape. The heavy duty tape is a kind of pink color. As the threads are large I used a number of wraps. I open them each at end of season and have not had to renew the tape.

There are two water holding tanks. One under the forward berth and one under the aft berth.
When I fill the forward holding tank the water is pushed up through the inspection plate of the aft holding tank.
How do you resolve? Have you put in a whale non-return value?
