Thanks to all for the help on the wheel brake problem.I'm sure it's the set screw problem since it worked one day and not the next-didn't feel like a wear problem. The list comes through again. Is there a way to find the original position or is it obvious?

Jim,

When I took possession of #1028 last year the wheel brake was not working.
During the winter I have examined the inside of the pedestal and found the
fix to be fairly easy - the sprocket was not set by the hex screws anymore
and had some back and forth play. After moving it back to original position
and setting the screws all is good. Fairly easy fix, at least in my case.
