The Yanmar 3GM30F uses 2.6 liters. I forgot about the .6 since I've been
buying my oil by the gallon for convenience and price. BUT 3.8 liters are
only ONE gallon, not 4. A liter is similar to a quart. It makes sense the
way you purchase it.
Since I rarely use more than 5 or 6 gallons of diesel per season, I only
change the oil and filter once at the end of the season. I'd probably
forget where I stored the other 5 gallons my second season anyway
