Ouch - I take my mast down every fall and up in the spring. Club has a member mast crane that we all use.

The marina across the way charges less than 175 to take down.

Since I rarely need to take my mast down (& instead have a periodic inspection every few years), I saved enough money to cover the cost of the new rigging. The rigger did all of the work and reused all of the existing turnbuckles except for two new backstay turnbuckles. The price including all new wire rigging with a stronger split backstay and the accompanying stronger turnbuckles. I retained all of the old rigging which may still may be useful up here on Lake Erie, less the upper fitting for the forestay that had to be cut off. The roller furler foil did not have to be disassembled when the rigger could simply thread the new wire in the foil and swage the fitting at the yard with his portable hydraulic tool. You may want to contact the Catalina factory to learn if they have rigging on the shelf or will make replacement rigging at a competitive price for your 320.
