[C320-list] Anyone re-engined with a Vetus?

Graeme,  I have a 20 year old Westerbeke 30B with over 2000 hours on it .  While I have had to replace an electric fuel pump, starter and solenoid that was a lot cheaper than a new engine.  We are on a fresh water lake however

As well as Yanmar he is looking at Vetus M329 as apparently it's much easier to retrofit into the Westerbeke space. 

Has anyone done this and have good or bad experiences to report?
