[C320-list] Starter Button

My C320 is a 2002 with the Yanmar 3GM30F engine with about 170 hours. In the past 3 years I have burned out three starters and am at my wits end trying to find the source of the problem. Each time this occurs the bendix gear on the starter stays engaged with the flywheel when it should disengage. My thought at this time is to replace the black starter button - the ignition switch just turns the juice on. Is the starter button a specific Yanmar item or generic? Do you know where I can obtain one?  Do you have any other thoughts as to what else the problem might be? Your thoughts and comments are always valued. Thank you!
