Has anyone relocated the engine thru-hull from under the aft berth to more accessible location.

I am tiered of pulling the aft berth apart every time I need to open and close it. I am looking at the area just forward of the galley along the center line. This is where the bilge pump is located on the 94 models. Will this work??

Jim,

It's 5/8". I ordered the 6 feet length of Shieldsflex II Marine Water
and Exhaust Hose from Jamestown Distributers.
That is enough to replace the
whole length of raw water intake from the thru-hull to the water pump and give
you enough to have some spare short sections for the thru-hull.

That bend
will degrade faster than the rest because of the tight
radius.

Anyone know off hand the size of the fresh water intake hose? I'm
beginning to see the wire come through on the 90 degree bend so it's bound to
go. Can't find a size on the hose but it is labeled verflex marine exhaust
cerified (and presume s certified as well) There was an email recently about an
alternative to soften the acute bend where it seem to be failing but I can't
find it. 2014 Hull 973 Thanks.Jim Brown Desafinado
