[C320-list] Buying a 320

Daniel,

I¹d try to get a 320 which has the deeper bilge which I think was
introduced in the middle of the 1995 model year. I am sure someone else on
this list can supply the hull number when the change was made.

When you mention leaks it will make a big difference where the leaks are
located.  I assume you mean above the waterline.  Leaks in the opening
ports and hatches probably can be easily fixed.  Leaks around items that
penetrate the deck like chainplates can lead to more serious issues.  A
boat that has been well maintained should not have either.

Get a survey before buying any boat whether a Catalina 320 or otherwise.
