Dave,

I replaced mine last year. It was much easier than I thought. However, I have a newer boat (2006). I worked from the aft cabin side after taking out the two drawers that open into that cabin. All my connections were modern screw together joints so no real plumbing was required. I obtained an identical replacement from my local chandlery who ordered it from a catalogue of plumbing supplies.

Has anyone done a recent replacement and can offer suggestions on 1) where to buy the entire faucet assembly (any options other than Catalina Direct?); 2) getting the old corroded faucet out. Can the woodwork surrounding the access door in the aft cabin be removed to improve access? Any help would be appreciated.
