I went out for sail and engine overheated. I checked and the seacock was ¾
closed. So I opened it and all good. So I thought, when did I close it! Went
out yesterday and the same thing happened and it was closed. This time I
knew I did not close it. Only this time it does not pump water so I think I
may have killed the impeller.

So what cause the seacock to close. How do you tighten it so does not close
on its own? There are four screws and a white ring on the side. The ring
just turns and does not appear to do anything. Any suggestions.

The second question does anyone have the instructions to change the
impeller. Is it just a matter of taking the four bolts out? If pieces of the
impeller are in the water heat exchanger what is the best way to get them
out?

Thanks
