[C320-list] Depth Transducer Offset

Not if the offset is negative. With the Raymarine instruments you use a
positive offset (equal to depth of the transducer) if you want to read
actual water depth and negative offset (equal to distance from keel to
transducer) if you want the instrument to read how much water is below
the keel. Basically the offset is how much you want the display to add
to the transducer's raw data reading. I checked this on my boat last
weekend and found I have the offset set at +1.5 feet. With that setting
I get very nervous if the display gets to 5.0, but I have seen it go a
bit lower without grounding. I have the deeper wing keel.
Obviously lower settings (less positive or more negative) are more
conservative in that they will cause the instrument to report less water
than is actually there.
