[C320-list] CAMCO Water Heater Bypass Winterizing Kit

I have a permanent by pass kit installed that has a 3 way valve on cold in and a check valve arrangement on hot out.  

I move the valve to bypass open the drain and suck the tank 3/4 dry with a wet Vac. Then I remove the drain plug completely and insert a bent copper tube about 3/8 diameter to the tank bottom and suck out rest of water.  And leave it dry for winter.

Has anyone used the Westmarine Camco Water Heater Bypass winterizing kit?  I want to winterize the water heater without using antifreeze.
