[C320-list] Perkins engine paint in a can

When I replaced the coolant pump I bought from TA Diesels it came painted but not in the Perkins blue. I swallowed my high ethics and went with it. The exhaust elbow I recently replaced was also a non-matching blue. Down another knotch. I, too, have some bare spots; but, have chosen, up to this time, to use CRC 6-56 protect them. In fact, I use 6-56 on the entire engine (as much as I can access) when winterizing to protect from further corrosion. This seems to work well.

Perhaps you can find an appropriate color at an auto store. They have engine paints in spray and liquid. Please do let us know what you find.

Subject: [C320-list] Perkins engine paint in a can

I posted this question a few weeks ago and didn't receive any responses, so I'm asking again. My mechanic recommended I cleanup some rusty spots in the motor and paint it. Using a spray can will make a mess and was hoping to brush it on. I'm wondering if anyone has already done this and where they purchased the matching paint. Thanks for your help.
