[C320-list] Main sheet set up

OK in light air perhaps, but I can visualize an unexpected gybe snatching the stanchion right out of the deck, trnedous force generated in gybe.

I was looking at a boat called on line and they ran the main sheet to blocks attached to the  stanchions. With a clam cleat block attached at the cockpit. 

Any thoughts on this set up?
