[C320-list] Adler Barbour Cold Machine Issue

Hello,

Here's a document from the C320 website on diagnosing the compressor unit.

In my case, the controller module went out and the above diagnostics showed that.
I purchased a Danfoss BD35 / BD50 Electronic Module (SKU: FB-E-E50895) for $189, plugged it in and.... cold beer.

They have some other electronic addons to our fridge compressor like the Smart Speed Control that increases the efficiency of the compressor by soft starting it and running variable speed so that it is only running as fast as it actually needs to run to save energy.

So, my Cold Machine quit providing “cold”.  The fan & compressor are running, but no cold.  Probably freon or temp gage, but not enough time to have a tech check it out & we are taking the boat out for a few days. I currently plan to temporarily use the refer as an ice box for a couple of days. I know it has a drain & it seems like it would work OK as an ice box for a brief period.  Any experience out there, or known issues with using it this way?  Thanks much.
