This year in March, when my BoatUS/GEICO insurance was due, I wanted to see if I could get a better rate. I spoke with a couple marine insurance companies, but since I've owned Pleiades for 8 years now, the survey was 8 years old and they would only accept a survey that was less than 5 years old.I would need a new survey. The rates weren't much different so I stayed with GEICO.I wonder if next year I'll be bumped up too.

I've not been totally happy with their service anyway, after having a
claim denied last year. They were once considered one of the best, now
with the move to Geico, they're just another insurer in my eyes.
