[C320-list] Knot Meter Transducer Cabin Location Question

I feel pretty ignorant asking this, so apologies.
Sunday I did my first delivery sail for winter storage, completing my first
season of owning. I sailed to the yard with a friend of mine who owns a
1987 Catalina 30. Upon docking, she urged me to find my transducer and
replace it with the dummy, so the haul out straps wouldn't damage the
transducer. For the life of me, we couldn't find where to access it in the
cabin.
I know they are usually located fore of the keel. On her C-30, underneath
her V-Berth, there was a convenient locker door that gave easy access to
her transducer. We looked everywhere, but couldn't find where to access
it. I feel like an idiot, but I've only seen my boat out of the water
twice.
The yard said the straps wouldn't harm it, but I'm just very curious where
cabin access to mine is. Would it be under one of the sole panels I would
need to unscrew to access?
As always, many thanks.
