[C320-list] Heater hose let go

Thanks for the replies.   I did a temporary repair using the black hose
just to get through the weekend.   The guy at Advance Auto was busy sorting
out with another customer the difference between a radiator and a
regulator, so he just snipped me off 4" of hose and sent me on my way
gratis.

After a day of service I then had to bypass the heater for winterizing, so
I think I will upgrade to some sturdier hose before the spring.

Jeff, I assume you are talking about the clear hose used in hot tubs that
generally has a red or blue stripe on it depending on cold or hot water
used.   I think I might actually have some spare of that lying around from
a repair a while back, I'm just not sure if it is 3/4" ID but pretty sure
it is.   I'll add this to the winter 'upgrades' list.   I also noticed that
the nylon connector that goes from 3/4" ID barb to a 3/4" pipe fitting to
attach a whale fitting seems really yellow.   Do these go bad or just look
ugly?   If they go bad I might as well replace those fittings while I'm in
there.
