[C320-list] Hurricane coming.

Tim,

Is there an option to have your boat hauled and stored on land. I am not sure whether this would be better if the winds are really high. Steel cradles would probably work best for this option. At our marina we have the option to be put on the hurricane list and as soon the marina is sure that the hurricane is going to hit our location and damage will be significant, they start hauling the boats. Boat/US insurance pays for half the haul out cost. The marina has 2/3 floating docks and 1/3 fixed docks. The boats on floating docks will probably stay in the water as that is relatively safe. I stayed in the water at a fixed dock for hurricane Isabel and didn't have any damage. Some decided to stay on their boats during the hurricane and then watched their cars in the parking lot go under water. I hope that you can come out with minimal if no damage.

Didn't think about my wenches, I'm going back in the morning to add spring lines to both cars and wenches.
