I, too, have a Perkins M30 (hull #8) and am interested in why you need to repower.  What gave out?  I spent yesterday at the Seattle boat show and one of the vendors I talked with was Beta marine.  They suggested their Beta 30 and said it would cost about $10,000 plus $800 for the engine mounts sized to fit the C320.  These are rough numbers since I didn’t get too serious with the quote.  I think I can nurse my M30 along for a few more years, but I’ve been battling a chronic overheating problem.
