[C320-list] FWIW Pedestal Instrument panel paint peeling re-do pics in Album

If you are interested I re-did our pedestal instrument panel and placed some pics in my Photo Album.
The PO peeling paint job had to go. Preferred black letters on white panel but plastic is black so it would have been much harder to do.  I did try it (un-doing the attempt took most of the time) but I would have had to "carefully" cut out each letter by hand without any damage to white.  Then no assurance that white paint wouldn't peel again.
It's not perfect but given the amount of time I wanted to spend....Actually dug out each letter anyway to remove dirty non-white junk packed in letters  Then sprayed white paint to "cleanly" (clean white color) fill letters in.  Then sanded with "finally" 600 grit wet sandpaper.  Close enough for winter project.  Much better than what it was,  Waiting for new Blower switch then back onto boat.
If it didn't work well enough, I was ready to buy new panel but gave it a shot.  I will see how it holds up. Still would prefer white with black letters but.....Not very important in grand scheme of things. Any comments welcome.  I can take it.  Buying new panel would have been easier but almost $200 for new panel was just not worth it (to us).  Plus there was no full return policy if you buy one (from Catalina Direct). Nice indoor winter project.
Thanks,
