Greetings:On November 13 the Association Board held its annual meeting by teleconference.  Among other business, the Board nominated the following incumbent officers for the following positions:  David Allred, Commodore; John Santana, Vice Commodore; Bill Culberson, Secretary/Treasurer; Jeff Hare and David Prudden, Webmasters; and Rod Boer, Mainsheet Editor.  We are seeking someone to replace Warren Updike as Mainsheet Technical Editor.  The Technical Editor is primarily responsible for finding technical articles for publication in Mainsheet.  Rod Boer assists the Technical Editor as necessary with editing the articles.  Articles typically come from the members who are encouraged to document (with photos and commentary) their boat repair and improvement projects.  If you are interested in, or merely willing to assume, this  highly prestigious position, please let me know by email at david.allred at verizon.net, or by responding to this post.  You may also contact me or Warren if you have any questions about the position. 

The nominations are open until November 22.  If you want to nominate anyone for any of these positions, including yourself, please let me know.  After the nominations close on November 22, I will post the final nominations and you will have until November 29 to vote on your officers.  I will announce the final results on November 30.
