My original Marinco receptacle (which failed) had its metal housing self/internally grounded.  The smart plug receptacle was not but I recall there being mention of that fact in the Smart Plug instructions and some suggestion that one might want to do so.   I chose to ground the Smart Plug receptacle housing; others do not.   Video does not mention.

Hi All,

     After reading the article/review on marineknowhow.com, I've decided 
to convert to the Smartplug shorepower connection on my '99 hull# 660.  
It looks like a pretty straightforward operation. I'll be converting the 
my existing 50' shorepower cord.   I ordered the SS kit on Amazon 
Prime.  It was the best price with free shipping and will arrive on 
Thursday.  Anything I should know about from those who have done this?
