[C320-list] Replace Lift Pump?

My boat is a 2000 model so it's going on 19 years old (DOM Nov. 1999). I'm replacing all the fuel lines simy due to age and the Racor primary filter assembly (broken prime pump and it leaked at bowl fittings requiring silicone) I was considering replacing the lift pump with the spare I bought a few years ago. My question is, how long is the service life of a lift pump? The 1999 3GM30F engine has 650 hours.
