[C320-list] Head sink drain

LOL! Don't heel that much. :-) I think the 320 slows down considerably when heeled that much. We try to stay around 15 degrees, no more than 20-ish though because we find we can flatten sails a bit more and maintain speed without all that weather helm. Heeling way over puts extra stress on the steering system and if you have to fight a lot of weather helm, you might as well toss a bucket out the back with a line attached.

We keep a gallon jug of water in the head sink and it has never fallen out. That said, definitely keep the shower and head intake drains closed.

We added one of these centered below the cockpit companionway entrance to help you keep an eye on your actual amount of heeling while you're at the helm.

Thanks Jeff. I wanted to throw out another issue we’ve had to see if there is a solution that someone has discovered. When you have the head sink drain seacock open and heal over (30+ degrees) on the starboard side the seawater comes in through the sink and floods the bathroom, at least that’s happened with us. So we keep the drain closed when at sea. Is there a solution to this problem?
