For those that remember my task about new batteries I am at this point and have a Balmar Alternator question (below).
Bought so far:
Dinghy davits (Installed)(2) Solar panels and controllers w/ monitor panel/display(2) AGM batteriesMisc Pos and Neg Terminals
Yet to buy:Solar panel mounting systemRegulatorAlternator (Maybe)  (60-100-SV)
Question:If I buy an Alternator I am leaning towards Balmar MC-614 and Balmar 60-100-SV 100amp....
According to the documents I see Balmar might need the Hitachi mount?  I currently have a Hitachi alternator so can I assume the mount is that style?  I am not at the boat right now and I will confirm all this once there but...  Below is step 4 of the alternator choosing process:

Step 4: Identify the Alternator Mounting Style Present on your EngineThe most common mounting styles are shown to the right:
(A) 1” Single Foot (Spindle Mount) “Motorola Style” Balmar 621 Series (B) 2” Single Foot (Spindle Mount) “Delco Style” Balmar 621 Series (C) 3.15” Dual Foot (Saddle Mount) “Hitachi Style” Balmar 60 Series (D) 4” Dual Foot (Saddle Mount) “J-180 Style” Balmar 604 Series

How can I tell I get the alternator that will fit?  Will I have to do all the micrometer measurements etc....????
Anybody that had Yanmar with (I think original) Hitachi alternator go with 100 amp Balmar that can verify the model that "should" fit?.  Or should I call Balmar and confirm with them?  Which I will eventually do anyway....

Thought I would ask for any experiences out there.

Thanks,
