I have not had that problem with a 155. I tend to keep a little pressure on
the line going to the new windward side so that may hold it up.
I suppose if your arrangement did snag, you could lay a large SS salad bowl
over it like a turtle shell.
I use an all chain anchor rode and the vertical windless feeds beautifully
in both directions

Not got this now but on an old boat I had a lime that I made off on one
forward cleat, passed round the gypsy and made off on the other. Seemed to
reduce the snagging but I guess mileage will vary with the relative
positions of each item.
