Silicone based greases aren't supposed to cause rubber/o-rings to expand, but some greases do, so it's always a good idea to verify what's actually in the recommended grease.
Marelube is what they currently recommend as others have stated.  In the past, they recommended Lanocote (before they branded their own product).  I think Marelube is easier to use than the Lanocote because of the consistency.

I use silicone grease (from Lowes plumbing department for about $3.33) with a cotton swab.
