[C320-list] Time sensitive - fuel tank

Dave,

Thanks. I was trying to remove old fuel that I think was causing problems. I have decided to leave the tube it in the tank and close it up.

If I have problems later, I will cut a bigger hole, retrieve the tube, and JB Weld a patch over it (or something with threads so I can plug it).

If all else fails, I will follow Jeff Hare’s suggestion and replace the tank. I don’t think the hose will restrict fuel flow and I don’t think it will decompose, though, so I hope I will be okay.

Thanks again,

Jeff

Jeff-
I can't guide you about the suction hose that fell in (why were you suctioning??), but yes …. the tank supposedly will fit through the aft berth hatch when the door and its frame are removed (that part is easy). I haven't done it myself (yet).
