[C320-list] Transmission lubricant

It’s 30 weight with the Yanmar transmission. I top mine off once or twice a year with a very small amount of oil.

Insert the dipstick without screwing it down. There should be a small amount of oil on the end up to the line.  Sometimes, you need a paper towel to detect it.

A couple of questions
1) How quickly does the fluid deplete? How often should I expect to top it up?
2) What is correct fluid? I assumed automatic transmission fluid but reading the manual (engine is 3GM30F) I suspect it might be ordinary engine oil?
