charging batteries overnight I've never had water from the muffler drain. Once I removed the petcock and inserted a flexible rod in there. It went in a fair distance and still nothing came out. As others have the same experience there could be some explanation. Any ideas???Warren & Pattie UpdikeC320 1994 #62 "Warr de Mar"Middle River, MD (Chesapeake Bay)-----Original Message-----From: Bob Borelli <cassattc22 at hotmail.com> Sent: Monday, July 6, 2020 7:28 PMTo: C320-List at Catalina320.comSubject: Re: [C320-list] Drain aqua lift muffler? Engine won't start after charging batteries overnight9/16" or 14 mm wrench opened my Aqua Muffler drain.I operated the diesel to suck Ban Frost 2000 into raw water system for winterizing. And happily the fluid started to flow from the drain. The fiberglass muffler may have a leak which I intend to locate & repair with Marine-Tex.Removing the cover will require removal of the exhaust hoses on either side of the muffler. So winter tune lay up fix.And I always complained about wooden sailboat.Bob Borelli1995 C320 no. 209 SAI mooring #10 Georgetown, MD________________________________From: C320-list <c320-list-bounces at lists.catalina320.com> on behalf of Dave Hupe <hoopdtwo at yahoo.com>Sent: Monday, July 6, 2020 6:29 PMTo: C320-List at Catalina320.com <C320-List at Catalina320.com>Subject: Re: [C320-list] Drain aqua lift muffler? I just screwed it back in. No leaks afterwards.
